Watford Piscators is a long established coarse fishing club, run by fishermen for fishermen. The earliest records of the club date back to 1885, making us one of the oldest fishing clubs in the United Kingdom.
The club aims to provide high quality coarse fishing in a friendly environment in and around Watford, South Hertfordshire. One of the main features of South Hertfordshire is the Colne Valley which is home to sections of the Grand Union Canal, the rivers Colne as well as many gravel pits and lakes.
Watford Piscators owns or leases the fishing rights to a number of these waters, many of which are available for the exclusive fishing of club members. Fish caught from our waters are regularly reported in the angling press, particularly the larger carp which are often caught from Tolpits Lake. The site contains lots of information about the club, our waters and the fishing we offer. We hope you enjoy exploring the site and if you would like more information about the club please contact us.
