WEATHER:
Outlook at present is a mixture and damp and dry weather. Temperatures vary from high to mid teens with a possible 20° plus Wednesday. Remember, forecasts change frequently. Always check the local weather outlook before any planned fishing sessions so you are well prepared.
OUTLOOK: Wednesday, 20°/14°, light rain, , Thursday, 17°/9°, sunny intervals, Friday, 16°/12°, sunny intervals, Saturday, 15°/9°, light rain, Sunday, 16°/10°, showers, Monday, 15°/7°, sunny intervals, Tuesday, 15°/6°, drizzle.
CATCH REPORT: SEPTEMBER 2024
CASTLES: Still been fishing extremely well always guaranteed to get a bend on your rod on this lake. Many Carp up to 11lb, plenty of Skimmers, Roach, Rud, Gudgeon and some Crucian Carp. Also, a few small Tench caught.
TOLPITS: Been fishing extremely well throughout the month. A couple of named Carp have been caught up to 31lb. The One Eyed Common has been out on a couple of occasions weighing around 31lb and Baby Red Cheeks at 28.12lb. Several other Carp in the lower and upper doubles also caught. Plenty of small Skimmers, Roach and Rudd. Lots of Perch up to 1.8lb also caught on worms and soft lures. Plenty of Bream up to 8lb. Also, some small Pike.A small number of Tench up to 7.12lb.
RIVER: A few Jack Pike have been caught on soft lures.
THURLOWS: Has fished very well also with many Carp coming out up to 31lb. One member had caught 11 carp over 3 days being his best catch to date. A few Tench up to 6.2lb, several Bream up to 7.4lb. A few nice Perch up to 1.6lb also caught on worm and soft lures.
STANLEYS: Surface fishing has proved to be very successful on this lake when warm and sunny. There have been some good catches of Carp with the largest being 27.3lb. Several Bream to 6.6lb, several Roach, Rudd, Perch and other Skimmers.

* Friday 18th October - Sunday 20th October - BRIMS CARP MATCH TOLPITS PLEASE NOTE ALL PLACES FOR THIS MATCH HAVE NOW BEEN TAKEN! Draw Main Car Park 09:00 Friday fish 10:00 until 10:00 Sunday - maximum Two Rods. Please leave the Lake by mid-night Thursday 17th October. You can return to fish Sunday after the match has completed. Do not walk the lake until those who have taken part in the match have packed up and left their swim.

GUEST PERMITS: Guest Permits, as well as from Harefield Tackle, Guest Permits can be purchased from Your Water Management Chairman, Ron Westwood, Mobile: 07445 975001. Please note as per Rule: 13.1 A Guest Permit must be obtained before entering the societies fisheries. Day Permit £10. 24 hour Permit , £25 and 48 hour Permit, £45, for Tolpits, Thurlows and Stanleys, Permits are available, from the 1st November - 14th March inclusive each season. Available to Senior Members only, minimum 18 years old, the guest shall share the same swim or be in an adjacent swim to the member. See Rule 13 to 13.3 in your Rule Book for full details.
