These dates are subject to change so please check our Facebook/Website Pages.For clubmate update please see our join Us page on our website, it has four steps on how to set up Clubmate, this must be done by the end of April and all payments will be through the Clubmate system. Please remember if the Clubmate system puts you on the waiting list then you will need to email the membership secretary as soon as possible as this means we hold the wrong email address and this is a quick fix so there’s nothing to worry about all you will have to do is logout of clubmate then log back in as soon as your email address has been updated in your profile.
CATCH REPORT: FEBRUARY 2025
This month has been extremely cold with temperatures below zero on many occasions.
TOLPITS: A few Carp in the upper double figures have been caught, including Baby Red Cheeks at 30lb 7oz. Plenty of Bream up to 7lb and many other silvers. Perch to 2lb 6oz on worms and a few Pike up to 18lb caught on dead baits.
THURLOWS: There have been several Pike captured on dead bait, with the biggest one being 13lb. Plenty Bream up to 6lb, a few Carp up to 25lb. Also, some nice Perch up to 2lb 2oz caught on worms and soft lures.
CASTLES: Fishing steady as always with several Carp up to 8lb have been caught. Many Bream and other Silvers, also a few Tench and Perch.
STANLEYS: Not much has been reported. Only a few Carp up to 24lb. Plenty of Silvers and Bream to 6lb. A few small Perch and Jack Pike on lures and dead bait.
RIVER: There have been Catches of Roach, Bream, small Chub and a couple of Jack Pike.Please remember to forward me any pictures of your recent catches with weights and the lake caught on. These will be placed on our Watford Piscators Website every month on the link below.

RIVERS: Just a reminder that River Fishing is now closed and starts again 16th June.

PLEASE NOTE: Where ever you decide to fish, especially on Our Complex, make sure you Dip all Nets, Slings, Mats and Cradles before you fish and again if you change Lakes before you fish and always make sure you carry with you and use, Hand Sanitizer to protect yourself.
MATCH NEWS:
* Sunday 23rd March - Stanleys Pool - Winter League 6 - Carp 1lb - Draw Stanleys Car Park 08-08:15 Fish 09:30 - 14:30. Please leave the Lake by mid-night Saturday 22nd March. You can return to fish Sunday after the match has completed. For Safety reasons do not walk the lake until those who have taken part in the match have packed up and left their swims.
NOTE: YOU don't have to be a regular match fisher to take part, you can choose one or as many matches as you want to take part in. Who knows you might enjoy the experience and become a regular Match Fisher! Why not give it a try!
WORK PARTIES: There are jobs to suit all and Your help will make Our Complex even better. WATER MANAGEMENT: Should any member have access to used scaffold poles, donations to the Club or at reasonable prices that can be used for repairs around Our Complex please contact Ron, your Fishery Manager, 07445 975001, it will be greatly appreciated.
GUEST PERMITS: Guest Permits, as well as from Harefield Tackle, Guest Permits can be purchased from Your Fishery Manager, Ron Westwood, Mobile: 07445 975001. Please note as per Rule: 13.1 A Guest Permit must be obtained before entering the societies fisheries. Day Permit £10. 24 hour Permit , £25 and 48 hour Permit, £45, for Tolpits, Thurlows and Stanleys, Permits are available, from the 1st November - 14th March inclusive each season. Available to Senior Members only, minimum 18 years old, the guest shall share the same swim or be in an adjacent swim to the member. See Rule 13 to 13.3 in your Rule Book for full details.
BRITISH SUMMER TIME: Remember: Clocks go forward one hour Sunday 30th March.
