WEATHER:

THURLOWS:

Due to the recent wet weather, the Car Park Swim, The Pads and the swim next to The Pads are very, "boggy", not unfishable but, you should be aware in case you decide to use these swims at present.

MATCH NEWS:

* Sunday 21st April - Castles Lake - Absolon and Grove Cup - 08:00 - 14:30 please leave the Lake by mid-night Saturday 20th April. You can return to fish Sunday after the match has been completed. For Safety reasons do not walk the lake until those who have taken part in the match have packed up and left their swims.

* Sunday 12th May - Thurlows - Wesley Cup Over 60's Trophy.

* Sunday 26th May - Tolpits - Championship Leg 1.

NOTE: YOU don't have to be a regular match fisher to take part, you can choose one or as many matches as you want to take part in. Who knows you might enjoy the experience and become a regular Match Fisher! Why not give it a try!

WORK PARTY DATES:

There are jobs to suit all and Your help will make Our Complex even better. So if you can make even one of these dates please do. Many hands make light work!

* Saturday/Sunday - 20th and 21st April 2024 - 09:00 - 13:00

* Saturday/Sunday - 27th and 28th April 2024 - 09:00 - 13:00

Sign in at the Containers for work allocation and for Safety be sure to wear suitable clothing and footwear, bring along a pair of work gloves to protect your hands. Tools will be supplied. Any tools will be signed out to you and ticked off upon return.Should you be unable to carry out a Work Party at weekends contact Ron your Water Management Chairman 07445 975001 who may be able to arrange a Work Party during the week.

CURRENT MEMBERSHIP COMPLEX SEASON 2024/25 DATES:

Renewals are now open for the 24/25  season please see the Complex renewal dates below. Please remember that we do need your old membership card back as we are still missing some photos of members and if you still wish to fish our complex while your membership is being processed before the 1st May 2024 then please take pictures of the front and back of the membership card as the bailiffs will except this for the month of April ONLY, Bailiffs will be notified of this process while renewals are ongoing.Renewal Location: Bungalow/Lodge, Tolpits Lake.

*Saturday 20th April 2024 – 09:30-13:00hrs.

*Sunday 21st April 2024 – 09:30-13:00hrs.

*Saturday 27th April 2024 09:30-13:00hrs.

*Wednesday 1st May 2024 (please remember this is the final renewal day) 10:00-12:00hrs.

GUEST PERMITS:

Guest Permits, as well as from Harefield Tackle, Guest Permits can be purchased from Your Water Management Chairman, Ron Westwood, Mobile: 07445 975001. Please note as per Rule: 13.1 Day Tickets only are available at £10.  Day tickets, 24 hour and 48 hour Tickets are  available, from the 1st November - 14th March inclusive Each season. See Rule 13 to 13.3 in your Rule Book for full details.
