WEATHER:

Not Summer yet it would appear! Outlook mainly high teens until Tuesday before entering the low 20's. Still changeable with possible thundery showers Friday. Remember, forecasts change frequently. Always check  the local weather outlook before any planned fishing sessions so you are well prepared.

OUTLOOK: Thursday, 19°/10°, sunny intervals, Friday, 19°/12°, thundery showers, Saturday, 18°/7°, sunny intervals, Sunday, 18°/12°,  showers, Monday, 19°/12°, light rain, Tuesday, 21°/11°, light rain, Wednesday, 22°/12°, sunny intervals.

CATCH REPORT: June 2024

CASTLES: An excellent month with several Carp up to 16lb. Plenty of Skimmers, Gudgeon, Roach, Rudd, Bream, Crucian Carp and lots of Tench been out. A few members have had some good sessions on here landing up to 16 Carp.

THURLOWS: Has been fishing very steady throughout the month with several Carp up to 31lb 10oz. Tench up to 7lb, Bream up to 7lb, Perch and many other Silvers caught.

TOLPITS: It has been a good month with several Carp in the upper and lower doubles up to 36lb been caught. Zigs have been working very well with the warm sunny days. A few of the named Carp including, Oscars Fully, Baby Red Cheeks, One Eyed Common, Loz, Two Tone Common. Plenty of Bream up to 11lb. Also several Tench up to 8lb, Perch, Roach, Rudd and plenty of other Silvers caught.

STANLEYS: Always a good choice of lake whenever fishing on the surface or the bottom, there is always a good chance of having a good session on here. With many good catches of Carp coming out up to 25lb. Several Bream to 5lb, Tench, Perch and many other Silvers.

RIVER:  Also has been fishing steady with one member catching 6 Carp up to !8lb. Many Perch, Roach and Bream have also been caught.

CANAL: One member Dan, had a good session catching several Bream, Roach and a nice Perch.

MATCH NEWS:

*Sunday 07th July - Castles - Walkers Pairs Cup  - Draw Castles Car Park 08:00 - 08:15, Fish 09:30 - 14:30. Please leave the Lake by mid-night Saturday 06th July. You can return to fish Sunday after the match has been completed. Do not walk the lake until those who have taken part in the match have packed up and left their swim.

* Sunday 21st July - Thurlows - Championship Leg 3 - Draw Stanleys Car Park 08:00 - 08:15, Fish 09:30 - 14:30

* Tuesday 23rd July  - Castles - Closed for Lake Hire.

NOTE: YOU don't have to be a regular match fisher to take part, you can choose one or as many matches as you want to take part in. Who knows you might enjoy the experience and become a regular Match Fisher! Why not give it a try!

WORK PARTIES:

There are jobs to suit all and Your help will make Our Complex even better. So if you can spare any time to help please do. Should you be unable to carry out a Work Party at weekends contact Ron your Water Management Chairman 07445 975001 who may be able to arrange a Work Party during the week.

WATER MANAGEMENT:

Should any member have access to used scaffold poles that can be used for repairs around Our Complex please contact,  Ron, your Water Management Chairman, 07445 975001, it will be greatly appreciated.

DIPPING OF EQUIPMENT:

IMPORTANT - Ensure you dip all nets, cradles, slings and mats before you fish any of Our Lakes and if you move lakes make sure you dip equipment again before fishing your new chosen  lake.

GUEST PERMITS:

Guest Permits, as well as from Harefield Tackle, Guest Permits can be purchased from Your Water Management Chairman, Ron Westwood, Mobile: 07445 975001. Please note as per Rule: 13.1 A Guest Permit must be obtained before entering the societies fisheries. Day Permit  £10.  24 hour Permit , £25 and 48 hour Permit, £45,  for Tolpits, Thurlows and Stanleys, Permits are available, from the 1st November - 14th March inclusive each season. Available to Senior Members only,  minimum 18 years old, the guest shall share  the same swim or be in an adjacent swim to the member. See Rule 13 to 13.3 in your Rule Book for full details.
