Hello Each,

WEATHER:  Outlook at present says mainly dry, with some sleet possible for Wednesday. Temperatures in single  figures through next week during the day. Minus temperatures with the risk of a frost Tuesday through Saturday at night/early morning. Remember, forecasts change frequently. Always check  the local weather outlook before any planned fishing sessions so you are well prepared.

WARNING: We have had a great deal of rain lately and Our Lakes and River Waters are higher than normal and in some cases swims are under water. Please take Great Care when choosing and fishing from your chosen swims.

OUTLOOK: Tuesday, 5°/-3°, sunny intervals,Wednesday, 3°/-2°, sleet, Thursday, 2°/-4°, sunny, Friday, 2°/0°, sunny, Saturday, 4°/0°, sunny intervals, Sunday, 5°/1°, sunny intervals, Monday, 6°/3°, sunny intervals, Tuesday, 7°/3°, sunny intervals.

FRONT GATES: Work has begun on the front gates and will be completed early in the New Year. As you enter/exit the front gates you will see some boards on  Each side of the road way by the gates. Please DO NOT move these boards as they are covering deep holes. Please enter and leave Our Complex with extra care over the next few days.

CHECK -  CLEAN -  DRY:PLEASE NOTE: Where ever you decide to fish, especially on Our Complex, make sure you Dip all Nets, Slings, Mats and Cradles before you fish and again if you change Lakes before you fish and  always make sure you carry with you and use, Hand Sanitizer to protect yourself.

MATCH NEWS:

* Sunday 12th January - River Colne - Winter League 1, Carp 1lb - Draw Main River Car Park, 08-08:15 Fish 09:30 - 14:30.  Please leave your River Swims, midnight Saturday 11th January. You can return to fish Sunday after the match has completed and those taking part in the match have left their swims. For Safety reasons do not walk the river bank until those taking part in the match have packed up and left their swims.

* Sunday 26th January - Castles Lake  - Winter League 2, Carp 1lb - Draw Castles Car Park,  08-08:15 Fish 09:30 - 14:30

NOTE: YOU don't have to be a regular match fisher to take part, you can choose one or as many matches as you want to take part in. Who knows you might enjoy the experience and become a regular Match Fisher! Why not give it a try!

WORK PARTIES: There are jobs to suit all and Your help will make Our Complex even better. So if you can spare any time to help please do.Should you be unable to carry out a Work Party at weekends contact Ron your Water Management Chairman 07445 975001 who may be able to arrange a Work Party during the week.Water Management Chairman

WATER MANAGEMENT: Should any member have access to used scaffold poles that can be used for repairs around Our Complex please contact,  Ron, your Water Management Chairman, 07445 975001, it will be greatly appreciated.

WATER MANGEMENT COMMITTEE VOLUNTEERS: We are looking for Members to volunteer as a Member of our Water Management team. If you feel you can help and would like more information, please contact: Ron Westwood, 07445 975 001. You will be joining an active Committee who carry out this very important role in taking care of Our Waters.Ron Westwood  - Water Management Chairman

GUEST PERMITS: Guest Permits, as well as from Harefield Tackle, Guest Permits can be purchased from Your Water Management Chairman, Ron Westwood, Mobile: 07445 975001. Please note as per Rule: 13.1 A Guest Permit must be obtained before entering the societies fisheries. Day Permit  £10.  24 hour Permit , £25 and 48 hour Permit, £45,  for Tolpits, Thurlows and Stanleys, Permits are available, from the 1st November - 14th March inclusive each season. Available to Senior Members only,  minimum 18 years old, the guest shall share  the same swim or be in an adjacent swim to the member. See Rule 13 to 13.3 in your Rule Book for full details.
