WEATHER:

Temperatures forecast higher this week dropping again from Wednesday. Still plenty of rain forecast though. Remember, forecasts change frequently. Always check the local weather outlook before any planned fishing sessions so you are well prepared.

OUTLOOK:

Thursday, 7°/4°, rain, Friday, 10/5°, sunny intervals, Saturday, 12°/6°, heavy rain, Sunday, 12°/7°, light rain, Monday, 11°/7°, sunny intervals, Tuesday, 11°/5°, light rain, Wednesday, 8°/2°, drizzle.

CATCH REPORT NOVEMBER 2023:

CASTLES: Has been fishing very well until 2 weeks ago with several Carp up to 10lb, Perch, Roach, Rudd, Tench and many Bream also caught.

TOLPITS: Had a good start to the month with some lovely specimen Carp up to 28lb coming out in the first couple of weeks As the weather became colder it slowed down completely. Some Pike have been coming out on dead bait, with the biggest being 14lb 8oz. Several Bream to 5lb, a couple of Tench to 6lb and Perch to 2lb.

THURLOWS: Also been fishing well, considering the weather. Bream up to 6lb, and some Carp in the upper double figures with the biggest being 24lb 9oz. Some small Pike have been caught on dead bait and lures, with the biggest one being 9lb. A few nice Perch up to 1lb 12oz also caught on worm and soft lures.

STANLEYS: Some good catches of Carp out up to 19lb. Several Bream to 4lb and some Perch to 1lb and also couple of Jack Pike on lures.

RIVER: Reports of a small number of Pike have been caught in the last couple of weeks.

TOLPITS NEWS:

* Swims, Bonfire, Telegraph and Stumps, Ebury Way Bank, are closed for maintenance and should be completed after the weekend, weather permitting.

* Six new Carp have been introduced to Tolpits ranging from 20lb plus to 23lb plus.
