Stocking Poll Results

Dear Members,

Firstly, many thanks to all of you who took time to vote in our recent poll; participation levels were encouragingly high with over 60% of members voting. The graphic below shows the result.

In summary, of those that expressed a Yes/No opinion 74% agreed with the stocking plan as tabled and 26% disagreed. This data will now be discussed at the next general committee meeting and an action plan will be developed. Please be mindful (and patient) as it could take a number of seasons to implement changes across the whole complex. We do foresee funding, people resources and availability of specialist services as issues that we need to first overcome. As we approach the winter, many other angling clubs will also be looking to book netting & stocking services, therefore availability could be limited for any initial activity. In any case we do not envisage any physical action until early 2025 at the earliest.

The General Committee will endeavor to keep you updated on any proposed changes to our lake stocks.
