WARNING: We have had a great deal of rain lately and Our Lakes and River Waters are higher than normal and in some cases swims are under water. Please take Great Care when choosing and fishing from your chosen swim.

MATCH NEWS UPDATE: Due to the current hight and flow of the river, Sundays Match will now take place on Thurlows Lake.

* Sunday 12th January -Thurlows Lake - Winter League 1, Carp 1lb - Draw Stanleys  Car Park, 08-08:15 Fish 09:30 - 14:30.  Please leave your Lake Swim, midnight Saturday 11th January. You can return to fish Sunday after the match has completed and those taking part in the match have left their swims. For Safety reasons do not walk the river bank until those taking part in the match have packed up and left their swims.

NOTE: YOU don't have to be a regular match fisher to take part, you can choose one or as many matches as you want to take part in. Who knows you might enjoy the experience and become a regular Match Fisher! Why not give it a try!

HEALTH AND SAFETY WARNING: With this recent and future forecast cold weather if you are bivvy fishing, DO NOT under any circumstances however tempting close your bivvy door if you are inside with the stove lit to keep warm. There is the high risk of carbon monoxide poisoning which could turn out to be fatal. There has been a recent reported case in the fishing media of an angler dying because of the above.
